AeroShakti

Who we are

Turning a disposal cost into an energy asset

We are an organic waste management company with a process engineering core, running 8 operational plants across Mumbai, Panchgani and Vizag, with more in development.

Our story

A biogas plant fails at the bin, not at the tank

AeroShakti was founded in 2018 around a single observation: more than half of what Indian cities bury is wet, biodegradable and, in energy terms, valuable. Two years later we commissioned Mumbai’s first municipal organic waste-to-energy plant.

Contamination, the wrong carbon-to-nitrogen ratio and an operator who was never properly trained will defeat a well-built digester every time. Most of what goes wrong on a biogas plant goes wrong upstream of the tank.

That is why our segregation protocols, our feedstock testing and our decision to run plants ourselves rather than hand over a manual and leave all sit at the front of the process, not the end of it.

Milestones

2018

AeroShakti founded, with a focus on decentralised processing of organic waste close to where it is generated.

2020

Mumbai’s first municipal organic waste-to-energy plant commissioned.

2022

Expansion of decentralised biomethanation infrastructure across new sites.

2023

10 additional plants awarded across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Mission and vision

Our mission

To make on-site anaerobic digestion the default answer to organic waste in India: technically sound, commercially obvious, and operable by the people who already work at the site.

That means designing for the operator, not the brochure. Fewer failure points, parts that can be sourced locally, and training that assumes no prior process experience.

Our vision

A country where organic waste never reaches a landfill, because the energy inside it is worth more where it was created than the cost of transporting it away.

If we do our job, biogas stops being a subsidy story and becomes an infrastructure one: the boring, reliable layer under every kitchen, campus, mandi and mill.

What makes us different

Four things we do that most integrators do not

Plenty of firms will sell you a digester. Fewer will still be answering the phone in year three when the gas yield drifts.

Advanced, boringly reliable technology

Two-stage mesophilic digestion with automated feed dosing, inline pH and temperature control, and membrane upgrading rated for continuous duty. Instrumented, not gold-plated.

Capacity and scale, honestly matched

From 300 kg per day society units to 60 TPD industrial plants. We size to your worst month, not your best, and we will tell you when digestion is the wrong answer.

Measured environmental impact

Every plant reports diverted tonnage, gas yield and avoided CO2e monthly, against a documented and repeatable methodology.

Industry expertise on staff

Process engineers, microbiologists and field operators on our own payroll. Commissioning is never subcontracted.

Get Started with AeroShakti

A simple way to start turning your organic waste into renewable energy.

01
Connect With Us

CONNECT

Tell us what you run and roughly how much organic waste it produces. We work with municipal bodies, schools and campuses, hospitals, hotels and restaurants, industrial sites and institutional facilities. The first conversation takes about twenty minutes.

02
We Design Your Solution

DESIGN

We visit the site and measure three things: your waste volume across a normal week, the area you can set aside, and what power and water are available. A design and indicative payback window follow within two weeks.

03
Transform Waste Into Value

BENEFIT

Your organic waste becomes biogas, green electricity and biofertiliser on site or nearby. You get monthly reporting on tonnage diverted, gas yield and carbon avoided.
